Lorries upto to 7.5 tonnes

If you passed your test after 1997 you can drive a vehicle with a maximum weight of 3500kg. If you are over the age of 18 and under 21 we can train you for the category C1 test*. This will entitle you to drive a vehicle up to 7500Kg. The licence requires you to have a medical and take the lorry theory test. This medical and theory pass certificate can be used later if you wish to take the category C lorry driving test. The amount of training that you will require will be determined by a one and a half hour assessment. Training will usually take between 3 and 5 days. The test comprises of a reversing exercise and a drive on the public roads with an examiner.
