Car and Trailer

If you passed your car driving test after 1997 you will only be entitled to tow a trailer with maximum weight of 750Kg and a combined vehicle plus trailer and load weight of a maximum of 3500Kg. We can provide you with training to take and pass the car and trailer test which will entitle you to drive a vehicle combination weight  up to a maximum of 7500Kg.

If you passed your test before 1997 you are entitled to tow a trailer with a combined vehicle weight (car + trailer + load) of no more than 7.5 tonne (7500 Kg). After 1997 the rules change to limit the trailer size.
